About Noah’s Bakehouse

Tradition and love baked into every product

Grandmère’s Kitchen is a place where our heritage lives on. From food served using the recipes of our ancestors and coffee being enjoyed around a table with family and friends in an atmosphere where no one is a stranger, the dream is for everyone to be able to enjoy this little slice of a simpler life. The heart of this place in little ole Mire, La is for everyone to not step into a business, but a memory of a kitchen they once enjoyed.

Tradition and love baked into every product

About the Owner: Abigail Richard

I am so excited to share my love of being in the kitchen with you. What started out as an idea to raise money for softball became this big dream to open a place that displays not only my love of baking, but my wish that the world slow down and we all get back to the way our ancestors lived (hence, Grandmère’s Kitchen). My experience with baking started when I was 3 years old and now, as I look back, I can see every memory in the kitchen that has led me here. While I am the owner, I could not do this without the amazing support from my family who has been there every step of the way, not only in my business venture, but walking me through life.  Five years ago I would have never dreamed I would be opening my own business as a 19 year old, but God proved that all things are possible.
God Bless,

Abigail Richard
